My company sometimes caters from Railtown and I find their sandwiches pretty tasty, so I decided to check out their brick and mortar location with R.

What he ate: The Caesar – olive oil croutons, shaved reggiano, classic caesar dressing ($10) + Chicken ($4)

R had no complaints on this salad. This is his go to dish here and he said that it was good as usual. I had a bite, and I liked that the dressing had a strong lemon punch.

What I ate: The Spinach – baby spinach, mushrooms, bacon, egg, tomato, crumbled goats cheese, crispy onions, red wine & dijon vinaigrette

I ordered this because I love mushrooms, but I just discovered today that I’m not a huge fan of raw mushrooms. That aside, the salad was very filling (I couldn’t finish this), and I really liked the dressing. I love my salad dressings to be more on the vinegary side and this definitely hit the mark.

This Cafe is in a pretty rough part of town (and it’s not very close to my office), so I think I’ll stick to their catering.
