Holy Duck Chili Oil – 4 Variations
The base of Holy Duck chili oil all feature 100% all-natural ingredients. They don’t use MSG, preservatives or additives. Only the best premium umami rich ingredients are used and each jar is lovingly handcrafted. They have since expanded their product line and now have four different chili oils available:
- Holy Duck Chili Oil – the OG chili oil made with duck fat
- Zero Duck Chili Oil (Vegan) – their newest product that is 100% vegan with mushroom umami goodness

The original Holy Duck Chili Oil is made from 100% all natural ingredients. The chili oil draws inspiration from Chris and Lou’s original family recipe. The key to this chili oil is their use of Canadian duck fat. It adds the most incredible umami richness without being overwhelming.
To me, the original version is pretty spicy, but if you’re looking to up the spice levels you need to check out the Extra Ducking Spicy version. They are not joking with the extra spicy kick!
The Holy Duck Chili Lava Salted Eggs is a staple in my fridge. As a huge fan of salted egg yolks, this condiment really hits the spot. It goes well with everything. Seriously, I’ve eaten it with bread straight up before. However, I highly recommend you try it on your breakfast potatoes, vegetables, anything that just needs that little extra oomph to make it very special.
Zero Duck Chili Oil – Vegan Chili Oil
The newest addition to their line up is the aptly named – Zero Duck Chili Oil. This stunning creation is a collaboration with FORIJ mushrooms. This chili oil features the natural meaty umami goodness of lion’s mane mushroom. It is the perfect addition to the chili ensemble, and great for all vegans!
Worth a Try?
Yes! You can purchase these fantastic chili oils online or at select retailers. My go-to order is ‘The 5 Fooks’ package which is all of their chili oils plus their seasoning powder for a great price of $88. However, if want to try a jar before committing to the whole set, definitely go for the OG. I seriously put that stuff on everything!
