Charcuterie Boards with Saputo Cheese Collection Boxes

Saputo wants to spread some joy to Canadians with a new gifting idea: Saputo cheese Collection boxes. Each box is curated with a selection of Saputo’s finest cheeses. They are beautifully arranged and grouped by theme. This is the perfect gift to give to your family and friends because it takes all the hassle of figuring out what cheeses go well together. Each box comes with a handy guide to help you learn and discover more about the different cheeses. It is the perfect addition to any charcuterie board. Find out more about the Saputo Cheese Collection Boxes and where you can buy them here.

There are several to choose from, so there will be one to please even your pickiest friends. The boxes are:

I was gifted The Great Canadian Cheese Platter and it was the perfect choice for me. This box includes: Alexis de Portneuf Vacherin and Sir Laurier d’Arthabaska, Woolwich Dairy Fine Herb Goat Cheese Log, Armstrong Extra Old and Marble Cheddar. However, for this particular board I went with the Alexis de Portneuf Vacherin and Sir Laurier d’Arthabaska and Armstrong Marble Cheddar.

Building A Charcuterie Board

To build your board, first lay down your cheese. I like to pick a selection of different colours for visual appeal, but I strongly believe you should pick whatever you like best in terms of taste!

Next I like to add my salami. For this particular board I picked prosciutto, hot salami and capicollo. However, as with the cheeses, pick your favourites. It’s hard to go wrong with selection here!

The final step is to fill in the empty spaces with your favourite crackers, nuts and some fruit (like grapes!). It’s so much fun to build my own charcuterie board, and I can’t wait to make more! I almost always get charcuterie boards when I’m out so it was nice to craft my own this time.
