Dine Out Vancouver 2023 – Street Food City is Back!

Dine Out Vancouver Festival’s Street Food City will once again welcome thousands to šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énk Square on the north side of the Vancouver Art Gallery to sample a collection of food trucks and carts in one convenient location. The 11th edition of this beloved culinary tradition takes place Saturday, January 21 to Sunday, January 29 – this year with extended hours and an expanded vendor lineup. This is a great fun free entry event to participate in Downtown Vancouver.

Dine Out Vancouver 2023 - Street Food City

This year’s Street Food City boasts 17 participating food trucks dishing up an array of cuisines including:  Filipino eats; Sicilian-style fried risotto balls; plant-based Mediterranean comfort food; traditional fish & chips; gourmet mac n’ cheese, and more. The trucks will rotate throughout the festival, so you’ll want to follow them on Instagram to see which trucks are on the plaza.

Street Food City 2023 welcomes the following food trucks and carts:

I went last year and it was such a fun experience. While the festival was a bit slimmed down due to COVID restrictions, I’m glad to see them back bigger and better than ever. I love that there is such a varied selection of food trucks to choose from. I’ve previously tried a few of these vendors and they were all delicious.

Street Food City hours will be:

Saturday, January 21: 11am – 9pm
Sunday, January 22: 11am – 7pm
Weekdays: 11am – 2pm
Saturday, January 28: 11am – 8pm
Sunday, January 29: 11am – 7pm

Location: Vancouver Art Gallery
šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énk Square, West Georgia Street (between Hornby and Howe Streets)

In addition, The Lantern City will feature a display of lanterns in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery steps concurrently with Street Food City. Presented by LunarFest, the lantern installation will feature artists from the diverse communities of Vancouver.
