If you’re looking for a restaurant with an incredible view of Vancouver, look no further than Seasons in the Park. This iconic restaurant has been around since 1989 and is known for its stunning views and regional West Coast dishes. It is located at the peak of Queen Elizabeth Park and is surrounded by a lush garden. The stunning panoramic view of Vancouver’s skyline and local mountains is unmatched in the city. The menu is on the pricier side, so definitely check out their $55 Dine Oue Vancouver dinner menu for a great experience at a good price. I came by on a rainy day, but the vibe was still on point. I love the large glass windows and the sparkling city lights through the rain. Check out my full review of Seasons in the Park Dine Out menu below!
Seasons in the Park $55 Dine Out Menu (Appetizers)
To start there are three appetizers to choose from:
- Caesar Salad
- Seasons Stuffed Mushrooms
- Carrot Ginger Soup
We went with the Caesar Salad with parmesan and capers. It is your traditional Caesar, with the right amount of dressing and crisp vegetables. Fairly standard, no complaints here.
We can’t go without trying their signature Seasons Stuffed Mushrooms. These mushrooms are filled with crab, shrimp and cream cheese. They are bubbling hot when they arrive and pack a lot of seafood flavour. It was a nice way to start the meal! This is definitely the appetizer to get on this menu.
Seasons in the Park $55 Dine Out Menu (Entrees + Enhancements)
For entrees there are also three options:
- Duck Confit – garlic mashed potatoes, broccolini, honey glazed carrots and a cabernet demi-glace
- Cioppino
- Wild Mushroom Ravioli – white wine, truffle cream sauce, grape tomatoes, arugula, grana padano
For my entree, I went with the Cioppino features snapper, prawns, scallops, mussels, tomato fennel broth. The broth was really flavourful and there were lots of small scallops, snapper and mussels. The prawns were large and bouncy.
This went so well with the table bread! The bread is served warm, before the appetizers with a nice crust and soft fluffy insides.
However, there is an option to upgrade your entree for just $10 more. The enhancement options are:
- Surf and Turf
- Sablefish
We got the Surf and Turf and it features an 8oz New York, prawns, garlic mashed potatoes, market vegetables, demi-glace. We felt that it was worth it for the $10 upgrade. The steak was cooked to our liking and the garlic mashed potatoes were really garlicky and smooth. Like the Cioppino, the prawns were also large and bouncy. It’s worth the $10 upgrade – the portion size was quite generous.
Seasons in the Park $55 Dine Out Menu (Dessert)
We were pretty full at this point, but the menu also includes two dessert options to choose from:
- Butterscotch Crème Brûlée
- Chocolate Brownie
Of course had to get one of each to try. The Butterscotch Crème Brûlée had a lovely sugar crust and was super smooth and not too sweet (surprisingly!). This would be my pick for dessert.
The Chocolate Brownie comes with vanilla gelato, caramel sauce and crumbled walnuts. The brownie was fudgy, moist and super chocolately. It went really well with a nice cup of hot post dinner coffee. Both desserts were decadent without being too sweet. A really lovely way to end dinner.
Worth a Try?
Yes! Seasons in the Park is such an iconic restaurant in Vancouver and for good reason. The food is always solid, the service is lovely and the views absolutely can’t be beat. The Dine Out menu is a steal at $55 and it’s worth checking out!
