Milk and Eggs

I had the day off so I ventured out to Richmond to meet up with R and baby. We met up a bit later, and our original plan was to go to Ramen Sanpoutei, but unfortunately we missed their last call (because we might have gotten lost trying to get there…) so after some quick googling we settled on this restaurant.

We arrived around 3 pm and the restaurant was completely empty – which was good because baby was being a little bit fussy, but thankfully the owner of the restaurant was very accommodating.

What we drank: Thai Iced Tea and Iced Matcha Latte

Recently I’ve been obsessed with Thai iced tea so when I saw it on the menu I knew I had to order it. I’m not an expert on the drink by any means, but I really enjoyed their version! It wasn’t super sweet and the tea flavour was very strong!

R had the Matcha Latte and I had a sip, there was a good matcha flavour, but it was on the milkier side.

What we ate: Garlic butter french fries ($5)

At first I was skeptical when this dish landed on our table because it looked so plain, but it was so delicious! The mayo completed the fries perfectly. I could have gone for another basket of these!

What we ate: Prawn Chili Aglio Olio Linguine – chili infused olive oil pasta topped with sauteed prawns ($15)

I’m personally not a fan of this pasta dish, because I find it too oily, but I didn’t mind this version. I really enjoyed the generous portion of prawns!

Overall I had I really good time here. Unfortunately it is a bit out of the way for me, so I probably wouldn’t come here unless I was in the area. However, I do want to come back again sometime to try out their ice cream!
