Recently I’ve been in a bit of a rut in terms of eating out. I’ve been going to the same places over and over again because of convenience and I haven’t had time to check out some new places.
This all changed when I went out with M over the weekend! Not only did I go to a new place for dinner, we also checked out a new after dinner coffee shop!
Coffee Monster on North Road is a bit hidden in a plaza, but they have a couple large signs directing to you to the front door, so keep your eyes peeled!
What we had: Matcha Latte ($4.75) and Tiramisu ($7.00)
I forgot to ask for the Matcha latte to be unsweetened because I’m so used to it being unsweetened as the default, but I still really enjoyed my drink! The latte art could have been better, but there was a strong matcha taste in the drink so that was the most important.
The tiramisu was light and fluffy and quite delicious! I would definitely get it again, or try the matcha tiramisu next time.
My friend also bought a bag of their coffee to go and he said that they’re quite good!
Would I come back? Yes! I wish I had found out about this place sooner! The cafe has a really relaxed vibe and great aesthetics.
