Kevin & Kevin Juice Bar & Cocktail Lounge is known for their 100% organic cold-pressed juices and smoothie bowls. But did you know they have an extensive food and cocktail menu? That’s right – they have a huge selection of appetizers and mains to choose from and they are absolutely delicious! In addition to this, they have a great cocktail menu that incorporates a lot of their fresh juices. Located at the edge of Chinatown, Kevin & Kevin Juice Bar is every Instagrammer’s dream. The interior is absolutely stunning, and there are so many different photo opportunities throughout the lounge. The next time you’re in Chinatown you need to check out Kevin & Kevin!
Kevin & Kevin Juice Bar Happy Hour
Unlike most lounges in Vancouver, Kevin & Kevin Juice Bar has an all day Happy Hour menu from 12 PM until close. There’s a great selection of vegan and meat options.
From the Happy Hour menu: Pulled Pork Slider, Vegan Flatbread, and Hot Wings.
The Pulled Pork Slider ($4.00 per slider) features housemade pulled pork with braised cabbage, pickle and K&K Secret House Sauce. The sliders are full of flavour and the best part is they also warm up the buns, so the whole slider is just a warm comforting bite.
The Vegan Flatbread ($9.00) is stunning to look at and just as delicious. The Vegan Flatbread has a pumpkin seed pesto, grape tomatoes, caramelized onions, mozzarella, arugula, marinated artichoke and roasted Portobello. The flatbread was nice and crisp and all the topping worked so well together. This is a must order dish for me.
Kevin & Kevin Juice Bar Dinner Menu
Their dinner menu has a variety of options to choose from (while most of the are on the Happy Hour menu), the Tuna Tataki is not, and truly a must order dish. The Tuna Tataki ($14.95) features ahi tuna with a garlic sesame crust, carrot ginger puree and pickled daikon. This dish was bright, vibrant and flavourful.
The Clam and Prawns Saffron Taglierini ($17.95) from their entrees is another fantastic dish. It features fresh Manilla clams, garlic chili prawns, saffron coconut cream sauce, tomato concasse, roasted portobello mushroom and arugula. Ever since having Taglierini for the first time at Miantiao I’ve been obsessed. This one definitely met my expectations. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the overall dish was an absolute ode to the sea. If you love clams, you need to order this dish! I cannot stop raving about this dish to everyone that I meet – it’s just that good.
Conclusion – Worth a Try!
Overall, I had a fantastic experience. The food was top notch and I thoroughly enjoyed every dish. The cocktails are definitely on the strong side and their Happy Hour menu is perfectly curated to match their cocktails. The ambiance and interior is unparalleled and the food is delicious.
