Mello Vancouver has done it again with their cute holiday donuts! I always look forward to the seasonal specials from Mello, and they didn’t disappoint for Christmas.
They have two new donut flavours available this December:
- Santa Baby – Raspberry mascarpone cream donut
- Jolly Hazelnut – Ferrero Rocher inspired chocolate hazelnut donut
As always, the dough for the holiday donuts are so soft and fluffy. The fillings are packed to the brim! The Santa Baby Donut has a lovely raspberry flavour and is a must try for all raspberry lovers. The cream is light without being too cloying. The mini Santa hat is such a cute touch!
My personal favourite is the Jolly Hazelnut because I adore Ferrero Rocher and this one just hits it out of the park! I love the addition of crispy flakes on top that just melt in your mouth. So good!
They have also brought back their classic Bûche de Noël in a full size and mini size! The mini is a small cake version of a classic Chocolate Yule Log. The chocolate cake base is so incredibly moist and chocolate-y. This is a must order for chocolate lovers. The strawberries on the mini cake are a nice tart contrast to the chocolate.
All their holiday treats are now available in store and for pre-order. If it’s anything like last year, these popular holiday treats will sell out quickly so I highly recommend you preorder. If holiday flavours are not your thing – my go-to flavours are: Cereal Milk, Matcha, Nutella, Strawberries & Cream and (the not secret Creme Brulee flavour)!
