Opening in Fremont Village in Port Coquitlam on April 9, C Market Coffee HQ will be one of the largest cafes in the area. This 75 seat cafe with industrial inspired interiors has large windows and an incredibly high ceiling. It is a light and airy spot with plenty of space. This new spot will have meeting space available for rent as well as a training centre for the next generation of baristas, coffee brewers and roasters. Like their first location, C Market Coffee HQ will over a variety of espresso coffees, specialty drinks, and Korean inspired fare. C Market HQ – Coffee and Specialty Drinks
The beans from C Market Coffee are by far some of my favourite in the city. I prefer nuttier and fruitier coffee with less of an acid note and C Market delivers.
On this visit we had Black Salt Cream Coffee ($6.00) features an Americano with pure cane syrup, sweet cream and black lava salt. I first had this drinks years ago (2019!) at C Market Coffee and it is still an excellent drink. I also got a regular Iced Latte with coconut milk and it was excellent as always. The latte was smooth and I really appreciate all the alternative milk options available.
The Lemon Blue Butterfly ($6.00) is another personal favourite of mine. It is made with house made lemon syrup, blue butterfly tea and topped with Perrier. This drink is one of C Market’s signature drinks and I can see why. It’s so light and refreshing. The colours are stunning as well.
Worth a Try?
Yes! If you are a coffee fan, C Market Coffee HQ is not to be missed. It is a stunning space and not one you find often in the Lower Mainland. Their coffee is fantastic as always and there are so many different ways to enjoy it. Unfortunately we were quite full during our visit so we didn’t order any food items, but check out my review of C Market Coffee to get an idea of the delicious Korean fusion fare they are whipping up. In addition, I saw that they are introducing some delicious looking breakfast sandwiches and the tables around us seemed to really enjoy them!
For their April 9 grand opening they will have several specials:
- From 7am – 9pm the first 50 customers will receive a free C Market tumbler, coffee and pastry, the next 50 will receive a free coffee and pastry
- BOGO drip coffee all month long
