One lip product that you will always find in my purse or jacket pocket is the Dior Lip Glow. This beautiful hydrating lip balm really enhances the natural colour of my lips while adding a subtle tint. Dior recently added a new colour to the line up – 031 Strawberry. The new 031 Strawberry shade is a tribute to BLACKPINK Jisoo’s birthday. It subtly brings out the natural color of the lips with a custom glow for 6 hours. What is Dior Lip Glow?
Dior Lip Glow is a hydrating lip balm is that enhances the natural color of your lips, giving them a subtle, healthy-looking flush of color. A unique feature of this lip blam is that it reacts with the pH level of your lips to create a custom shade just for you. The balm is formulated with cherry oil, shea butter, and sunflower waxes which work together to provide nourishment and hydration for your lips. The Dior Lip Glow is easy to apply with a creamy and smooth texture. It’s also really lightweight and perfect for everyday wear.
Dior Lip Glow 031 Strawberry – Swatches
The new Dior Lip Glow 031 Strawberry shade is a bright and cheerful red. 031 corresponds to Jisoo’s birthday which is January 3rd. Depending on the application method, the balm can be as sheer or as vibrant as you make it. I personally like to layer it on because it adds a very subtle deep red colour to my lips! The staying power is pretty good if you’re not eating or drinking, but I find that I generally have to reapply after every meal. The 031 shade reminds me of the Dior Addict Lip Tint 771 Natural Berry which is another favourite of mine.
I purchased mine in Hong Kong and it was $335 HKD. Unfortunately, I do not see it available on the North American Dior website nor is it currently available at Sephora Canada. If you’re travelling overseas, definitely keep an eye out for this shade! It’s the perfect shade of red to celebrate Chinese New Year!
