It’s no secret that I am absolutely obsessed with Trader Joe’s. If I ever found a genie, one of my three wishes would be to bring Trader Joe’s to Vancouver. However, luckily for me, there is a Trader Joe’s an hour or so across the boarder. Prior to the pandemic, I was a frequent flier at the Trader Joe’s in Bellingham. However, it’s been almost four years since I’ve gone to that location. I was so Trader Joe’s deprived that on my last trip to Los Angeles, I managed to stuff my carry on with almost exclusively Trader Joe’s products. They are so innovoative with their seasoning blends – here are five new Trader Joe’s Seasoning Blends that you need to try!
1. Trader Joe’s Ranch Seasoning Blend
If you love ranch this seasoning blend is for you. It is a classic ranch flavor with a slightly tangy and creamy taste. It has a nice balance of garlic, onion, and herbs that make it a versatile seasoning for almost any dish. It’s great on popcorn but I love mixing this with some sour cream and using it as a dip.
2. Trader Joe’s Ketchup Flavored Sprinkle Seasoning Blend
Tell me why I didn’t know that Ketchup chips were a Canadian thing! Ketchup chips are one of my favourites and this new sprinkle makes it so easy for me to make anything ketchup flavour! This sprinkle seasoning blend is tangy with a slight kick. It is a great seasoning for fries, burgers, and grilled meats. I also like to sprinkle it on roasted vegetables to add some extra flavor.
3. Trader Joe’s Pizza Sprinkle Seasoning Blend
This seasoning blend has a delicious pizza flavor with a blend of garlic, onion, oregano, and other herbs. For some great pizza inception, it’s great for seasoning pizza crusts! For an extra kick, I like to mix it in my tomato sauce when I make pizza or pasta.
4. Green Goddess Seasoning Blend
Ever since having green goddess dressing for the first time at Subway, I have been in love with this dressing. I’m so glad that Trader Joe’s came out with a seasoning blend for this! This blend has a fresh and herbaceous flavor with a blend of parsley, chives, tarragon, and other herbs. It’s great for seasoning salads and roasted vegetables. I also like to mix it into Greek yogurt or sour cream for a quick and easy dip.
5. Chile Lime Seasoning Blend
This seasoning blend is the spiciest of the bunch. It is zesty and slightly spicy flavor with a hint of lime. It’s perfect for adding a burst of flavor to grilled chicken or fish, as well as for seasoning vegetables and rice dishes. I also like to mix it into guacamole or salsa for an extra kick!
