This annual Burnaby dining festival continues to grow ever year and it’s an event I look forward to every years. Throughout the entire month of March, Bite of Burnaby transforms the city into a food lover’s paradise. Accessible pricing has become one of the festival’s main attractions – with restaurants offering special menus, combos, and deals at set prices ranging from $10 to $60. Check out my top 10 picks for Bite of Burnaby 2024 below (in no particular order!).
1. Wild Flour Pizza Co. – $40 Combo (2 Pizzas + Dip)
Wild Flour Pizza Co will always be a top pick for me and for Bite of Burnaby 2024 they are offering a 2 pizza and 1 dip deal for $40. Their incredible sourdough crust is loaded with the perfect amount of toppings always with some really delicious and innovative takes on classic and new flavours. My go-to picks for pizza here are:
- Perfect Storm – red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, pickled pineapples, jalapenos, crispy pork XO, dried oregano
- Funghi – white sauce, mozzarella, caramelized onions, roasted mushrooms, rosemary and fresh thyme, lemon zest, grated asiago

Hello Nori Brentwood is one of the newcomers to the Burnaby food scene and they are making a big splash with their $35 feature menu for Bite of Burnaby.

3. Olivo Cafe – $35 3-Course Feature Menu
Olivo Cafe & Eatery is a small and unassuming cafe hidden inside an industrial area is serving up Mexican and Korean influenced dishes. For Bite of Burnaby 2024 they are offering a $35 3-Course menu with your choice of appetizer, main and dessert. I am a huge fan of their Quesabirria and Croffle, so this menu definitely will hit the spot for me.

4. Bin 4 Burger Lounge – $25 2-Course Menu or $30 3-Course Menu
Bin 4 Burger Lounge is always a solid choice for a good burger in Burnaby. They have so many options to choose from that there is definitely something for everyone. From Ahi-tuna to vegan offerings you can always count on a great burger at Bin 4. For Bite of Burnaby 2024 they are offering two features menus: a $25 2-Course menu and a $30 3-Course menu.
The 2-course menu includes a main and a dessert, and the 3-course includes a starter, a main and a dessert. The mains include:
- Bin 11 – Wild Mushroom (63 Acres Premium BC beef, wild mushrooms, garlic, cream, truffle oil, parmigiano, truffle aioli, arugula, tomato)
- Bin 27 – The Bistro (Rossdown Farm’s free run chicken breast, smoked bacon, double cream brie cheese, balsamic onion jam, roasted garlic aioli, lettuce, tomato)
- Bin 39 – Plant one on Me (Lentils, wild mushrooms, rosemary, thyme, almond flour, oats, sunflower seeds, vegan smoked gouda, roasted red pepper, hummus, tomato jam, crispy tortilla, vegan red pepper aioli, lettuce)
- Bin 19 – The Big Dipper (add $2) (Brant Lake Wagyu beef, caramelized onions, crispy onions, swiss cheese, roasted garlic aioli, lettuce, tomato, rosemary beef dip)
For dessert you get to indulge in their Flourless Chocolate Torte with whipped cream, caramel and almond praline. For starters you’ll get a choice of Strawberry & Goat Cheese Salad with fresh artisan greens, strawberries, goat cheese, pickled red onions, toasted almonds, maple balsamic vinaigrette. Orthe indulgent Deep Fried Pickles which features a breaded dill pickle, Bin 4 blackening spice and chipotle aioli.

5. Glenburn Soda Fountain – $15 for 6 Scoop Combo
Glenburn Soda Fountain will be serving up 6 scoops of their housemade ice cream in a mini egg carton. You can create your own custom flight and it’s perfect for sharing (or not!). They have so many delicious flavours to choose from including Pecan Turtle, Coconut Fudge, Mint Chocolate Chip and Mango Passionfruit. Of course they also have all the classics like Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry and Cookie and Cream. They also made a special flavour for the Festival called “Bite of the Heights”!

Midam Korean Bistro is a long time favourite on North Road for Korean food. I’ve been going here for years, and nothing is more iconic than the basketball memorabilia that adorns the entire restaurant. For Bite of Burnaby 2024 they have a Feature menu for 2 priced at $65. It features:

B&D Authentic Vietnamese is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant serving up traditional flavours from Saigon with a modern twist. For Bite of Burnaby 2024 they have a $35 3-course menu.

- Salad rolls – Prawns, lettuce, Viet herbs, pickles, and vermicelli, served with our house peanut sauce, or fish sauce
- Mini spring rolls – Ground pork, taro, carrot, jicama, wood-ear fungus, and vermicelli, served with fish sauce
