Every year I look forward to the Holiday collection from Nespresso. Nespresso’s limited edition capsules are always so delicious that I wish that they were part of the permanent line! The 2022 collection with Pierre Hermé was the best Festive Collection ever, so I was really looking forward to seeing what Nespresso comes up with this year. I’m also so glad it was such an epic collab that they brought it back briefly earlier this year (I definitely stocked up on my Infiniment Fruité Faspberry and Infiniment Gourmand Hazelnut!) This year’s collection is a collaboration with Jean Imbert. Here’s a sneak peek of the 2024 Nespresso Festive Collection.
2024 Nespresso Festive Collection
As always there are three flavours available this year and it will be available for the Original (OL) as well as the Vertuo (VL) lines. Unlike recent years therei isn’t a fruit flavoured capsule this year. This is such a shame because I love the Raspberry inspired Infinitely Fruity Raspberry Flavour last year. The three flavours for the upcoming holiday season are:
- Almond Croissant
- Peanut and Roasted Sesame
- Unforgettable Double Espresso
These flavours are very nutty which I also love, so I’m looking forward to trying them for the festive season.
The Almond Croissant flavour features a blend of Latin American and African Arabicas. This blend captures the flavours of the classic buttery almond pastry. It’s an indulgent coffee with notes of almond and sweet vanilla. This smooth coffee is complemented by notes of brown caramel.
The Peanut and Roasted Sesame flavour brings out notes of roasted sesame, popcorn and a mix of almonds, hazelnuts and peanuts, making this an unmissable coffee this festive season. This cereal like coffee has undertones of oat and barely which add a toasty and nutty flavour to the coffee.
The Unforgettable Double Espresso is an aromatic blend with coffees from Peru and Costa Rica. The coffee features toasted cereal and woody notes. This coffee is reminiscent of bread crust with nutty notes and brown spices.
2024 Nespresso Advent Calendar
In addition to these festive flavours, Nespresso will also have their 2024 Vertuo Advent Calendar and 2024 Original Advent Calendar.
The 2024 Vertuo Advent Calendar features 17 capsules of roast and ground coffee, 5 capsules of flavoured roast and ground coffee, 1 capsule of a blend of roast and ground coffee and decaffeinated roast and ground coffee, 1 capsule of decaffeinated roast and ground coffee for the NESPRESSO plus one Limited Edition Coffee Mug.
The 2024 Original Advent Calendar features 19 capsules of roast and ground coffee, 4 capsules of flavoured roast and ground coffee, 1 capsule of decaffeinated roast and ground coffee for the NESPRESSO and one Limited Edition Coffee Mug.
The calendar is an elegant centerpiece in the festive season with a graphic foil relief depicting the Nespresso Festive Odyssey. It is inspired by Belmond’s art of travel, and it contains a limited-edition porcelain mug behind the 24th door to continue the journey of taste long after the festive season has ended.
