Hello Nori Signature – An Introduction
The first ever Hello Nori Signature location offers an elevated dining experience featuring:
- Signature Hand Rolls served fresh at their 38-seater bar
- New grilled items and small plates expanding on Hello Nori’s original hand roll concept
- An expanded bar menu with artisan cocktails, sake, and rare Japanese whiskies

At Hello Nori Signature they have an appetizer 3 hand roll set for $21. You can choose from a preselected list of options for each hand roll. I went with Negitoro, Sea Bream (madai) and Truffle Lobster. All of the rolls were delicious as per usual. The full menu can be found here.
The star of the show however is their brand new Charcoal Grill and Starters menu. These items are exclusive to the Hello Nori Park Royal location and worth checking out. We started our meal off with:
- Soft Shell Crab Karaage ($18.00)
- Blue Fin Tuna Blossom ($27.00)
- Yellowtail Jalapeno Ponzu ($18.00)

The Soft Shell Crab Karaage was perfectly fried. The outside was nice and crisp and the inside was piping hot and creamy. It went really well with the accompanying dill sauce.

The Blue Fin Tuna Blossom is as beautiful as it is tasty. The sashimi is exceptionally fresh and melt in your mouth and the thin layers of pickles help to balance out the fattiness of the tuna and the punchiness of the sauce.

The Yellowtail Jalapeno Ponzu is another winner for me! The sashimi was fresh with a nice firm texture, characteristic of Yellowtail. The ponzu was tangy and the jalapeno adds a nice heat to the dish.
Hello Nori Signature – Charcoal Grill
The Charcoal Grill section is the newest addition to Hello Nori and it is exclusive to the Park Royal location. From this section of the menu you can find so many delicious dishes that are prepared with charcoal. The smokiness really lends itself beautifully to all the dishes. We tried:
- Smoked A5 Miyazaki Wagyu ($25 per oz/3 oz minimum order)
- Miso Sablefish ($19.50)
- Hokkaido Jumbo Scallop ($18.00)

The Smoked A5 Miyazaki Wagyu comes with a variety of sides including calamansi and sesame saku saku. It is a tableside show with applewood smoke to finish the dish. The meat just melts in your mouth it is so buttery and soft. The sesame saku saku is a nice textural contrast and the crunchiness goes well with the wagyu.

The Miso Sablefish is soft and silky, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. The miso glaze adds a perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet. The addition of the pickled ginger was a nice contrast to break up the overall indulgence of this dish.

The Hokkaido Jumbo Scallop come with a yuzu vinaigrette and chimichurri on a half shell. The scallop is large and sweet. The yuzu vinaigrette and chimichurri really adds a lot of flavour to the delicate scallop without overwhelming it.
Worth a Try?

Yes! The new Park Royal location for Hello Nori Signature is absolutely stunning. It is also the first location to offer table seating. Do note that handrolls are not served for table seating. The new menu in addition to their existing hand roll menu is fantastic. There are so many delicious Japanese dishes on the menu with the addition of some really unique twists that make Hello Nori’s newest location a must visit. This is a wonderful addition to the rapidly expanding Hello Nori empire.
