I haven’t had Vietnamese food in quite a long time, so I was super happy when S was also craving pho for dinner!
I used to go to Pho Don a lot when I worked at Playland, but since I quit years back I haven’t been here in awhile.
What we ate: Phở Tái Bò Viên – Rare Beef & Beef Ball Noodle Soup ($9.25)
This is what S ordered. A typical bowl of pho, so no complaints!
What we ate: Phở Sate – Rare Beef in Sate Peanut soup ($9.98)
Originally I was going to order Bún bò Huế but S pointed out the specials and I quickly changed my mind to this. I love peanut anything, so this dish was right up my alley. This was pretty good, but I still prefer the one from Got Pho. There wasn’t nearly enough peanut flavour for me, but still pretty decent!
Would I come back? Yes, I actually prefer this to the other Vietnamese favourites in the area. I like the high ceilings and better ventilation that Pho Don has.
