49th Parallel Café & Lucky’s Doughnuts first opened in 2012 on Main Street. Since then they have expanded to several locations, and I’m glad that in 2017 they finally opened in Downtown Vancouver on Thurlow and West Georgia Street.
The cafe offers fresh, delicious, made to order breakfasts and lunches paired with delicious doughnuts and expertly crafted coffees.
The brunch menu is exclusive to the Downtown location and is only available from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm.
This was a good breakfast sandwich. The bread was soft and perfectly toasted and all the ingredients although simple, worked well together and didn’t overwhelm each other.
At $9.00 it’s a bit steep for such a small sandwich, but the pricing is on par with what I expect from a cafe Downtown.
This location is super busy, but the customer service is always very friendly and efficient. They always have great latte art no matter how busy it is and the food is always crafted with care.
They have a huge selection of doughnuts and I’m not going to lie, I’m here more often than I’d like to admit.
