Trestle Bridge in West Vancouver With the Best Views

The new Trestle Bridge is a hidden 200 metre long bridge over Cave Creek in West Vancouver. The Trestle Bridge has th best view of Vancouver. This new trestle bridge built by British Pacific Properties connects the new Uplands neighbourhoods of Rodgers Creek to the future Cypress Village. The Trestle Bridge in West Vancouver is relatively well hidden, however it is hard to find parking once you get there. The walk to the bridge and on the trestle bridge itself has the most beautiful views of Vancouver.

The east end of the new trestle bridge can be accessed about 500 metres west from the Chippendale Road and Cypress Bowl Road Intersection, north of Cypress Bowl Road.

It’s a short and easy walk and a great little spot to take in the beautiful views. The Trestle Bridge is free of charge. There is also free parking, but it does get full, so try to go a little earlier before sunset.

This is the closest trestle bridge to Downtown Vancouver and it is less than a 30 minute drive. However do keep in mind that there isn’t a lot of parking. Most of it is also on a slope! However, this trestle bridge walk is a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. It was really nice to walk this trestle bridge as I really like walking the Myra Canyon Trestles in Kelowna.

If you want to have a small taste of nature without going to far away, the Trestle Bridge in West Vancouver is for you! If you go in the winter time, dress warmly because it does get very chilly. I would recommend wearing good walking shoes as the slope leading to the bridge is quite steep. However, I was wearing boots with heels that day and I was able to navigate it okay.
