It’s no secret I am a huge fan of The Dolar Shop. I adore their hot pot and I can say it’s my favourite spot to go to in Vancouver. They currently have two locations – one in Burnaby (at Station Square) and one in Richmond (at Lansdowne). Because of their locations it’s super easy to get parking (for free too!) so that’s a huge bonus. Dolar Shop is on the pricier side, but they have a special lunch set lunch menu that starts at a reasonable $27.99. Check out my full review of The Dolar Shop lunch sets below!

The Dolar Shop Lunch Sets
The Dolar Shop’s new Summer Special Set Menu starts at $27.99 and all sets come with a generous vegetable platter and unlimited noodles or rice. As always there is free unlimited ice cream in a charcoal cone at the end as well. The meat options range from chicken to wagyu and the most expensive set is $89.99 for the A5 Miyazaki Wagyu Set. The vegetable platter is the same for every set and it comes with napa cabbage, corn, quail eggs, spam, shrimp paste, broccoli, beancurd roll, shitake mushroom, enoki mushroom and imitation crab meat. It is a hefty platter!
On our visit we went with the Black Label Wagyu Set ($35.99) and Kurobuta Pork Shoulder Collar Set ($32.99). There was a quite a bit of food for the price!
Worth a Try?
Yes! The Dolar Shop lunch menu is definitely worth a try! It’s a great way to experience luxury hot pot at a fraction of the price. However, this special lunch menu is only available at the Burnaby location. They do however have a 20% off Happy Hour at the Richmond location from 11:30 to 4:30 PM and 9:00 to 11:00 PM. The Burnaby location only has the Happy Hour deal from 9:00 to 11:00 PM. Reservations are highly recommended!
