Vancouver is the first Canadian city to host this highly anticipated exhibition. Beyond King Tut will be located at the Vancouver Convention Centre (999 Canada Place). The opening of King Tutankhamun’s intact tomb 100 years ago captivated the world with its riches and clues about the ancient quest for immortality. Bringing to life the storied archives of the National Geographic Society, this much anticipated exhibition combines the power of cinematic storytelling and soaring imagery to invite visitors into the golden king’s world like never before.
There will be nine galleries to explore at this immersive experience. Wind your way through the story of a young boy whose name still looms large. See for yourself how he changed the ancient – and modern – world. You will meet Ancient Egyptian gods like Ra and Anubis. You will descend into King Tut’s burial chamber and join him in his quest for immortality. Relive one of the greatest discoveries of all time – the king’s tomb with all his treasures waiting inside, reclaimed from the desert sand after 3,000 years.

Hours of Operation:
- Sunday – Thursday: 10am-8pm (final entry 7pm)
- Friday & Saturday: 10am-9pm (final entry 8pm)
Duration: The visit will take approximately one hour with final entry one hour prior to show close. The experience is self-guided so stay as long as you like!
