Nestled along the picturesque coastline of Victoria, British Columbia, the Inn at Laurel Point is a luxurious haven that offers an unforgettable blend of natural beauty, impeccable service, and exquisite amenities. The Inn at Laurel Point offers stunning views of the city skyline and the iconic Parliament Buildings. Its central location makes it convenient for exploring the city’s top attractions, including the Royal BC Museum, Butchart Gardens, and the historic Inner Harbour. This was my first visit to this hotel and I left feeling refreshed and inspired. The Inn at Laurel Point is easily accessible by plane, float plane, helicopter and the BC Ferry. I took the BC Ferry from Vancouver and it was a 2.5 hour trip. It took me about 1 hour to reach Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal. The ferry ride itself was about 1.5 hours to reach Swartz Bay terminal. From there it’s a 45 minute drive to the Inn at Laurel Point.
The Inn at Laurel Point offers secure underground parking with multiple EV chargers in their underground parking space. The overnight parking fee is $24 CAD plus tax for each night parked. Daily parking is $3.00 per hour to a maximum of $12.00 per day (7:00 am to 11:00 pm).
Inn at Laurel Point is also a pet friendly hotel. So if you have a dog, this hotel is a great option. Your pet will just as pampered as you! With their own doggie bed, bowls and welcome doggie cookies. For more details click here.
Inn at Laurel Point – Erickson Wing Studio 2 Queens
The hotel boasts a range of luxurious accommodations, from spacious guest rooms to elegant suites. The Inn ahs two wings – the Erickson Wing and the Laurel Wing. For my visit I went with Erickson Wing Studio 2 Queens. I went with 2 Queen Beds because this was a girls trip for me, my mum and my sister, but if you’re travelling with a partner you can opt for a King Size bed.
The studio features and ultra luxe washroom with a gorgeous deep soaker tub, separate glass walk in shower, sliding shoji doors and exclusive bath and body products by L’Occitane en Provence!
You can also enjoy breathtaking views of the Inner Harbour from the private terrace style balcony with glass railings. There are seats for you to recline in and just soak up the last of the sunny Fall days.
From your bed you can enjoy your favourite shows and movies on a 55 inch LCD TV with TELUS Optik. There is also a small couch for reclining in as well as plenty of table space.
In the morning you can indulge in a hot cup of coffee with the Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine within your room! There is a nice selection of coffees to choose from as well as tea options.
Aura Waterfront Restaurant + Patio – Afternoon Tea
Aura Waterfront Restaurant + Patio is located inside the Inn at Laurel Point. The restaurant is committed to using locally sourced ingredients to create globally inspired dishes. It’s a great spot for a romantic waterfront dinner, brunch and afternoon tea with a stunning view. The afternoon tea at Aura is available on weekends only from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm and 24 hours advance reservation is required.
The menu includes:
- Fruit and Cream starter – seasonal berries, rambutan, chantilly cream
- Scones – blueberry + black currant scones sakura almond jam + clotted cream
- Sandwiches –
- Aburi salmon – togarashi aioli, smoked salmon okonomiyaki
- Chicken katsu – house made brioche, tonkatsu sauce
- Beet + shiso – labneh, house made challah bun
- Niku-man – Japanese braised beef short rib steam bun

You can also choose from a selection of Silk Road Teas that include herbal, black and green tea options. The tea is presented on beautiful clear stands and it’s a very unique presentation.
There was an excellent mix of sweet and savoury options and we were absolutely stuffed after tea. Our standouts were the fruits starter, scones, aburi salmon sandwich, chicken katsu sandwich, berry verrine and the amaro mousse bar.
It was so lovely to leisurely enjoy our tea, while catching up and watching the boats in the Inner Harbour. I absolutely recommend booking this afternoon tea for your next visit to Victoria, BC.

I had a fantastic stay at the Inn at Laurel Point. The hotels’ exceptional service, luxurious accommodations, great dining options, and breathtaking waterfront location make it a must-visit destination for travelers seeking an unforgettable Victoria experience.
