The Vancouver Croissant Crawl is back for a second year with even more fun flavours to choose from! This year, the crawl has expanded to include 21 different vendors across Metro Vancouver. This self guided tour is a two week celebration of the delicious croissant from November 1-14, 2023. With almost triple the number of vendors this year, there is so much to explore! Pre-orders are highly recommended as all vendors will have limited quantities available. Here are my Top 5 picks for the Metro Vancouver Croissant Crawl.
1. Cadeaux Bakery – Apple Pecan Crisp Twice Baked Croissant
Cadeaux Bakery has some of the best croissants in town, and their entry for the Metro Vancouver Croissant Crawl is an Apple Pecan Crisp Twice Baked Croissant. This croissant is a classic butter croissant with almond pecan frangipane and apple pie compote filling, topped with a maple soak and more pecan frangipane and oat pecan crumble. Ths apple filling is so lush and delicious, and I love the pecans that add an extra crunch to the top of the croissant. This is a must get! Preorders are highly recommended and can be made via phone or by email.

2. Davie Village Bakery – Nutella Supreme
While they are currently best known for their Extra Large croissants that are taking over Instagram, Davie Village Bakery also makes a great Supreme Croissant. For the Metro Vancouver Croissant Crawl they have a Nutella Supreme. This circular croissant is filled with Nutella cream and topped with minced hazelnuts. It is really hefty! The filling tastes more like chocolate pudding than Nutella, however it is not too sweet!

3. Paul Bakery – Caramel Chocolate Croissant Cube and Mascarpone and Strawberry Croissant
Paul Bakery on Robson Street has two delightful creations for the Metro Vancouver Croissant Crawl:
- Caramel Chocolate Croissant Cube – a cube of flaky, buttery croissant dough that is filled with a rich caramel and chocolate filling.
- Mascarpone and Strawberry Croissant – a classic croissant that with a creamy mascarpone cheese filling and fresh juicy strawberries.

4. Little Cafe on Robson – Pomegranate Punch Supreme Croissant
I’m a huge fan of the Supreme Croissants at Little Cafe on Robson and I’m so happy they are part of the Metro Vancouver Croissant Crawl. For the crawl they have a lush Pomegranate Punch Supreme Croissant! It features pomegranate pastry cream and topped with vanilla custard, fresh pomegranate and thyme. There are only 30 available daily so make sure you preorder online!

5. Pourquoi Pas Pâtisserie – St. Honoré Croissant
This spot is new to me, but Pourquoi Pas Pâtisserie is an aesthetic hidden gem cafe and patisserie in Coquitlam. For the Crawl they have a St. Honoré Croissant. THis features their classic croissant dough filled with crème pâtissière, a silky vanilla bean monté, and topped with a filled choux puff dipped in caramelized sugar. It’s like the best of two desserts!
