Arc Restaurant – Bottomless Brunch in Downtown Vancouver

It’s been a few years since I have been to Arc Restaurant for the weekend bottomless brunch, so I was very excited to try it again this weekend. The format remains largely the same, but there are some new dishes that I didn’t get to try the last time I was here. I really love that the menu has such a wide variety of dishes that veer from your typical brunch offerings that you would find in Vancouver. Check out my full review of the Arc Restaurant Bottomless Brunch below.

Arc Restaurant Bottomless Brunch – Savoury Options

For the savoury options I tried:

  • Buttermilk Biscuits – honey butter
  • 6″ Bone Marrow – gruyere, scrambled eggs, chives, sourdough toast
  • Roesti – smoked salmon, avocado and fennel salad
  • Smoked Salmon Benedict – chives, hollandaise
  • Braised Lamb Shakshuka – lamb sausage, onions, red pepper, feta cheese, sourdough toast, poached egg
  • Beef Shortrib Poutine – fries, cheese curds, beef gravy
  • Dutch Baby – prosciutto, burratini, arugula, egg
  • Spicy Buttermilk Fried Chicken – waffle, bacon slaw
  • Steel Cut Oat Risotto – mushroom, parmesan cheese, poached egg, mornay sauce

The Buttermilk Biscuits are a must. They come out warm and fluffy and the honey butter is just perfect over the buttery biscuits.

The 6″ Bone Marrow was definitely one of the most popular dishes and I saw it at almost every table. The marrow was rich and fatty and went so well with the perfect scrambled eggs.

The Roesti was a personal favourite because I adore potatoes and this was a thick hashbrown with avocado and smoked salmon – yum!

The Smoked Salmon Benedict was normal, so if you need more stomach space, you can definitely skip it (or go for another Roesti!)

The Braised Lamb Shakshuka has tons of lamb sausages in it, and the domainant flavours are definitely the gaminess of the lamb and red peppers. I like the sharpness of the feta cutting through the sourness of the dish.

The Beef Shortrib Poutine is a must for all fry lovers. The fries were perfectly crisp, and there was plenty of shortrib and cheese curds on the dish.

The Dutch Baby was another gorgeous dish! There was so much burrataini on this and I was in cheese heaven.

The Spicy Buttermilk Fried Chicken is probably the richest dish of all the options. The waffle is soaked in syrup (in the best way) and the fried chicken is crispy. The bacon slaw is just the crown on this decadent creation.

I got the Steel Cut Oat Risotto mostly out of curiosity because I have never had savoury oats. It was fun to try, but I would probably not get it again. The mushrooms were quite nice.

Arc Restaurant Bottomless Brunch – Sweet Options

For the sweet options I tried:

  • Ooey Gooey Skillet – apple compote, croissant baked skillet, cream cheese icing
  • French Toast – apple compote, crumble and whipped cream

The Ooey Gooey Skillet comes out piping hot and the croissants are caramelized on the bottom and still crisp on top. The cream cheese frosting isn’t too sweet so overall this was my favourite of the two.

The French Toast was moist, and the apple compote is such a classic pairing.

Worth a Try?

The Arc Restaurant Bottomless Brunch is priced at $65 per person. It is on the pricer side, but it is worth it for a treat yourself moment. I like that the dishes aren’t sitting in chafing trays and that they come on small plates so that we can try more dishes. Realistically it would be difficult to have the same things multiple times, but I think if you are a fan of trying many different dishes at once this is a good experience to try.
