Dope Bakehouse is celebrating its first holiday season in North Vancouver, and they’re not easing into it, they are going all in. This new holiday lineup is exactly what you want from a bakery in December: nostalgic flavours, wintery double bakes, and a latte that basically behaves like a warm hug. If you’re hunting for festive pastries in Vancouver or looking for a North Vancouver café to make your new seasonal ritual, Dope Bakehouse is a strong contender. Everything hits the counter this week for a limited time, with pre-orders open online. And honestly, you might want to secure a few things ahead of time. Check out my full guide for the new Holiday menu at Dope Bakehouse below!
The Holiday Collection (Dope Bakehouse Exclusives)

These treats are available exclusively at Dope Bakehouse:
- Rose Lychee Double Bake Croissant – double-baked supreme layered with almond frangipane, rose, raspberry, and lychee. Floral, rich, and the kind of pastry that disappears faster than you expect.
- Pecan Pie Tart – the flakiest croissant dough houses an incredible not too sweet pecan pie filling, vanilla ganache, and caramel. This is probably one of the best pastries I have ever had in my life.
- Galette Des Rois – puff pastry with frangipane infused with rum and vanilla. Classic, comforting, and perfect for anyone who leans traditional during the holidays.

- Cranberry Turkey Focaccia – one of the lineup’s savoury wins and one of the first things I wanted to sink my teeth into. Cranberry focaccia layered with smoked turkey, aïoli, torched brie, arugula, spinach, pecan praliné, and pecan dust. Basically the holiday sandwich every holiday sandwich wishes it could be (the Moistmaker included!).
- Kimchi Focaccia – this focaccia is not out to play, it uses really well fermented kimchi and it packs a punch. The addition of gochujang make it a little spicy and the smoked cheddar balances out all the kimchi funk.
Holiday Items Available at Both Dope Bakehouse & Nemesis

These pastries are available at Dope Bakehouse as well as all locations of Nemesis, which means more chances to grab them before they sell out:
- Ferrero Rocher Danish – chocolate pastry cream, praliné feuilletine, hazelnut, chocolate mousse, caramel. This is like your favourite childhood chocolate all wrapped up in buttery croissant dough.
- Christmas Tree Croissant – mint ganache, raspberry, peppermint confit. If you love mint, this treat is definitely for you. I’m not the biggest fan of mint, however the presentation of this pastry is beautiful.
- Pesto Mozza Swirl – croissant dough, pesto, and melty mozzarella.
- Cinnamon Twist – cinnamon and cardamom filling, perfect with a morning coffee.
- Chocolate Orange Suisse – chocolate pastry cream, orange zest, candied orange, and orange syrup inside chocolat croissant dough. Imagine a Terry’s Chocolate Orange in pastry form. The lamination on this pastry is excellent. You can feel every single layer as you bit into the pastry.
Worth a Try?

Dope Bakehouse has built one of the most creative holiday pastry line-ups in North Vancouver, and the whole menu leans into that mix of nostalgia and winter comfort without feeling heavy. It’s the kind of drop that makes sense for gifting, sharing, or keeping entirely to yourself. If you’ve been searching for festive treats in Vancouver, seasonal pastries, or a North Vancouver café that feels worth the trip, this should be on your list.
