Mandy’s Salads Vancouver Review: Is It the Best Salad in Vancouver?

Seared Tuna Salad and The Best Chicken Caesar and guacamole and chips from Mandy's Salads Vancouver

For years, Mandy’s Salads has been one of those restaurants people couldn’t stop talking about whenever they visited Montreal or Toronto. If you’ve ever searched for the best salad in Vancouver, chances are you’ve also seen someone comment, “I wish Mandy’s would come here.”

Well…it’s finally happening.

While Mandy’s hasn’t officially opened its first Vancouver location yet (2202 West 4th Avenue, Vancouver), the brand quietly launched on Uber Eats, giving locals an early chance to try its famous oversized salads before the doors open. Naturally, I had to order. Check out what I had below and whether I think you should give them a try or not!

Why Everyone Is Talking About Mandy’s Salads

Mandy's Salads delivered through Uber Eats before the Vancouver restaurant officially opens

Founded in Montreal by sisters Mandy and Rebecca Wolfe, Mandy’s has grown into one of Canada’s most recognizable salad brands thanks to its colourful restaurants, generous portions and signature dressings. After expanding across Quebec and Ontario, Vancouver is finally getting its own locations. The first Vancouver storefront will open in Kitsilano, with a larger flagship location planned for Coal Harbour at a later date. Until then, delivery is already available through Uber Eats.

If you’ve never had Mandy’s before, the menu is built around colourful, generously portioned salads made with premium ingredients and house-made dressings. While salads are the main attraction, you’ll also find grain bowls, wraps, soups, smoothies, and seasonal specials. One of the reasons Mandy’s has developed such a loyal following is the sheer variety of signature salads. Whether you’re after something protein-packed, vegetarian, or packed with bold global flavours, there’s a salad for almost every craving. Their famous house-made dressings are another big draw, with many regulars claiming they’re what keeps them coming back.

What To Order at Mandy’s Salads

If it’s your first visit, these are some of Mandy’s most popular menu items:

  • The Best Chicken Caesar – Their elevated take on a classic Caesar with grilled chicken, parmesan, crispy panko, and creamy house Caesar dressing.
  • Seared Tuna Salad – A fresh, Asian-inspired salad featuring avocado, edamame, apples, tempura onions, and wasabi ginger dressing.
  • The Wolfe – One of Mandy’s signature salads and a longtime customer favourite.
  • Create Your Own Salad – Choose from dozens of greens, proteins, toppings, and dressings to build your perfect bowl.
Mandy's Seared Tuna Salad with wasabi ginger dressing, avocado, edamame and togarashi-seared tuna in Vancouver

As a certified tuna lover I had to try the Seared Tuna Salad ($25.00). This salad features wasabi ginger dressing, mixed greens, kale, arugula, avocado, purple cabbage, cucumber, edamame, apples, tempura onions, sesame seeds and togarashi-seared tuna. I am officially obsessed. The first thing I noticed was just how substantial the salad was. This isn’t one of those sad desk lunches where you’re hungry again an hour later. Between the avocado, edamame and generous portion of tuna, it eats like a complete meal.

The combination of textures really works too. The crisp greens and cabbage provide plenty of crunch, while the apples add just enough sweetness to balance the savoury tuna. The wasabi ginger dressing has a gentle kick without overpowering the rest of the ingredients. It’s fresh, bright and ties everything together nicely.

And of course, I had to get an OG favourite The Best Chicken Caesar ($18.50). A classic caesar done right with Caesar dressing, grilled chicken, parmesan, panko crunch and romaine.

Sometimes the best test of a restaurant is how well they execute the classics. This is a straightforward chicken Caesar, but it’s done well. The grilled chicken was juicy, there was plenty of parmesan throughout the salad. The panko crunch added great texture without becoming soggy during delivery. The dressing leans creamy without feeling overly heavy, making it a satisfying lunch that doesn’t leave you feeling weighed down afterward. If you’re someone who usually orders a Caesar anywhere you go, this is an easy recommendation.

Is Mandy’s Salads Worth the Price?

There’s no denying Mandy’s sits at the premium end of the salad market. You can expect to spend around $18–25 for most signature salads.

That said, after trying it myself, I can understand why people have been so excited for Mandy’s to come to Vancouver. The portions are large enough to be filling, the ingredients taste fresh, and every component feels intentional rather than just tossed together. If you’re looking for a quick, healthy lunch in Vancouver that actually keeps you full, Mandy’s makes a strong first impression.

Pro tip: Mandy’s is currently offering complimentary Guac and Chips for orders over $35! The guac was fabulous with large chunks of fresh avocado and a nice overall zip. Highly recommend you take advantage of this great offer.

Worth a Try?

I’ve been hearing about Mandy’s Salads for years from friends who visited Montreal and Toronto, so my expectations were pretty high going into this. Thankfully, it lived up to the hype.

The Seared Tuna Salad was fresh, balanced and packed with flavour, while the Chicken Caesar proved that even the classics can be memorable when they’re made with quality ingredients. Once the Kitsilano location officially opens, I wouldn’t be surprised if Mandy’s quickly becomes one of the most popular healthy lunch spots in Vancouver.
