and in the top 100 - @whereisbagheera (59), @meochinatown (64), @whereislaowai (72) and @mountpleasantvintage (91).

had the most incredible night celebrating some of the best bars in the city @vanconventions. see you all next year!

@peaceandculture.coffee has some of the most unique drinks in town. I adore their coffee offerings but the blueberry pancake matcha has me enamoured. to make this drink zero waste, they use their unsold croissants to make a rich, buttery, toasted-wheat syrup. they layer that with fresh, house-made blueberry syrup and a healthy dose of @marukyu.koyamaen_official matcha.

very cool, very tasty and def worth a try.

the junbi matcha popup menu highlights a selection of their most popular matcha and hojicha drinks. my personal favourites were the chösen matcha latte with oat and hojicha latte with sea salt cold foam!l. their drinks are so smooth and not too sweet, so they pair perfectly with lee’s donuts.

super small bakery hidden in a side street in osaka that is a local gem. they usually sell out of several rounds of baked goods in the morning so definitely head there early for the best selection.

there’s a good mix of french and asian style baked goods as well as really yummy fusion items that are definitely worth trying. there is no english on the tags and it’s all handwritten so sometimes google translate won’t work but my pro tip is just use your eyes to choose. 👀
