I met up with A for dinner today to talk about her upcoming Japan trip. It’s a hobby of mine to plan people’s trips and I’m so glad that she asked for my help!
I adore Japan and it’s one of my favourite places to visit. It’s always a pleasure for me to introduce people to Japan and to help them in any way I can so that they have the best experience!
We met up at Italian Kitchen for dinner after work and it was busy!
We were seated on the second floor and it was extremely hot. The blinds were down but the sun reflected off their patio roof and I was sweating like mad throughout dinner.
What I ate: Duck Confit Gnocchi (pancetta, lemon, tomato, thyme cream)
This was my first time to have this dish and it was delicious! There was a very generous amount of duck confit but the overall dish was not too salty. I loved the thyme cream sauce because it perfectly complemented the duck and tomato without overwhelming the entire dish. I would definitely get this again!
