Joe Fortes is one of my favorite places for brunch. Partially because they serve their amazing lobster oil and bread even during brunch service. The lobster oil is so good I could drink it with a straw! (No, not really, but I have considered it!)

The interior is very classic. It’s like stepping back in time.

What I ate: Eggs Benedict with Sausage

I am not the biggest fan of hollandaise (blasphemy!) so I asked for it to be served on the side. This was a decent eggs benedict. The eggs were poached perfectly and overall this was a nice breakfast.

What I ate: Frenchy’s Breakfast (three eggs, farmer’s sausage, bacon, hash browns, multigrain toast)

This was standard fare. The potatoes were nice and crispy which I liked!
