Ramen Danbo specializes in Kyushu Hakata style ramen from Fukuoka. It is one of my favourite types of ramen because the noodles are thinner, and that’s my personal preference when it comes to noodles. I also like the options to customize the firmness of the noodles as well as the options for broth in terms of customization.


What we ate: Classic Rekka Ramen with soft boiled egg – signature tonkotsu pork broth ($10.75 + $1.50)

S ordered this and she had no complaints. It looked really yummy!


What we ate: Miso Ramen – a blend of two types of traditional Japanese miso ($10.95)

This is my go to order and it was delicious as always. A good and simple bowl of noodles with no frills. Pro tip: They have garlic paste on the table – USE IT.

Would I come back? Yes! This is one of my favourite ramen joints and I will definitely be back (especially since I’m a sucker for filling up loyalty cards!)
