One of the best parts about starting a food blog is all the amazing new people I have had the opportunity to meet.
Teresa and I decided to meet on a scorching hot weekend to partake in some $1 tacos! Unfortunately for use there was no more seating on the patio so we had to sit inside and it was almost impossible to have a conversation over the thumping music.
What I ate: Chicken Tinga (Pulled chicken, house slaw, sour cream, green onion, and radish) Hongo (Sauteed mixed mushroom, house slaw, feta, rojo mayo) and Squash (Baked kabocha squash, crispy onions, house slaw and chimichurri)
I loved the vegetarian tacos! They were so flavourful especially the Squash one. For $1 these were pretty generously portioned. There is a mandatory beverage purchase (but it doesn’t have to be alcoholic!)
Would I come back? Probably if I was in the area. The Squash taco was hands down my favourite and I could probably devour a whole half dozen of these without breaking a sweat.
