Dropped by the cafe specifically to check out their ube flavoured dessert. The souffle pancake combo takes about 30 minutes to make, so if you’re short on time this probably isn’t the dessert for you.
The pancake was reasonably fluffy and tasted exactly like Chinese “Paper Wrapped Sponge Cake” (纸包蛋糕). The ube flavour was strong, but this dessert was a little too much for me in terms of sweetness level and overall lack of textures.
It’s a nice to try, but I don’t think I will be back.
