Ruby cocoa is the latest trend in the confectionery world, and Purdys Chocolatier has just introduced their take on this new culinary innovation. Starting today (International Chocolate Day!), you can purchase Purdys two newest ruby creations crafted from 100% sustainable ruby cocoa at all 84 Purdys locations as well as online.
The Ruby Cherry Almond Bar has a slight fruity flavour and is creamier than most chocolates that I’ve tried. The almonds added a nice nuttiness that complemented the smoothness of the ruby chocolate. The colour is stunning – the pink is lush and romantic and best of all it’s made with no additional colouring!
Purdys has taken their famous praline chocolates and added a ruby twist. The result is a lovely pink heart confection that is mildly sweet from the ruby chocolate and slightly salty from the almond praline.
These two new creations will have no problem fitting in with the existing chocolates from Purdys. The ruby chocolate is highlighted beautifully and I will definitely be adding this to my chocolate rotation!
