T Cubed – Ice Cream Puff and Milk Tea Combos
There are two signature combos to choose from:
- Tropical Tan ($10.75) – Pineapple Ice Cream Puff with Salted Caramel Meringue and Mango Grapefruit Compote and Oolong Milk Tea
- Mango Sago ($10.75) – Mango Lychee Ice Cream Puff with Coconut Meringue and Mango Sago and Matcha Jasmine Milk Tea
The Tropical Tan has a charcoal black puff with a striking meringue topping. The pineapple ice cream was very flavourful without being too sweet. The Mango Grapefruit compote was a lovely tart contrast to the sweet meringue topping. This was my favourite – the pineapple ice cream is so addicting! The Oolong Tea was a little watery – it could use a stronger tea flavour to hold up to the bold ice cream puff flavours.
The Mango Sago is a bright auspicious red colour with a gold foil finish. The mango lychee ice cream was very refreshing and pairs surprisingly well with the salted caramel meringue. The Matcha Jasmine milk tea was very matcha forward and the bitterness pairs well with the sweet mango and caramel notes of the ice cream puff.
Worth A Try?
Yes! These combos are so well crafted with unique flavour combinations. I’ve been waiting for this trio to come back since their summer pop up and they did not disappoint with this combo! T Cubed is serving up some excellent desserts at a reasonable price point. Their creampuffs are definitely up there with Beta5 cream puffs.
The ice cream puffs held up really well (didn’t melt even after 30 minutes of photo taking.) Since this pop up is only around for 3 days make sure you mark it down in your calendar to check it out!
