2. Ladurée – Lunar New Year Macaron Boxes
If there’s one thing that I love, it’s the seasonal macaron boxes from Ladurée. The collectable box will be in traditional red and gold colours that symbolize good fortune. Each box can be filled with eight macarons ($43.00) from an assortment of Ladurée’s classic or specialty flavours.
To make it extra special for the Lunar New Year celebrating the Year of the Rabbit, Ladurée macarons can be customized with the symbolic rabbit ($1.50 per side) or luxurious gold leaf detailing ($3.30 per side).

3. Notch8 at Hotel Vancouver – Lunar New Year Afternoon Tea
Celebrate the Lunar New Year with a very special Afternoon Tea at Notch8 located inside the Hotel Vancouver. On the menu is a variety of delicious treats including Chilled Char Siu Sablefish sandwich, Foie Gras Turnip Cake, Red Bean Macaron, White Rabbit Lemon Cake and more! While it is the Year of the Rabbit for the Chinese zodiac, it is the year of the cat for the Vietnamese zodiac. And as a nod to both, Chantel will be including both designs for this special macaron collection. The box will feature four macarons:
