Ladurée is a world-famous French luxury patisserie, founded in Paris in 1862. Ladurée offers an exquisite and original experience with iconic macarons in a variety of flavours. They currently have two branches in Vancouver – a brick and mortar on Robson Street and a pop up inside Holt Renfrew. Ladurée macarons are instantly recognizable in their beautiful and luxurious packaging. For my birthday I received a dozen of these gorgeous macarons in their Marie Antoinette packaging. I’m a huge fan of macarons so I was very happy to receive this! Check out my review of these beautiful Ladurée Macarons from Ladurée on Robson Street.

The Marie Antoinette Box ($55.00) includes your choice of 12 macarons. These are the flavours that I received:

The macarons are secured within the box with plastic to ensure that they aren’t damaged. The colours are bright and vibrant and the macarons were so delicate.

Needless to say I am very impressed with these macarons. They were full of flavour but still delicate. The shells were crisp with a slight chew and the fillings weren’t overwhelming. The box also makes for a great keepsake! I am definitely the type of person who loves packaging, and I love that this box is so sturdy. It will be great for holding trinkets when I’m done with the macarons.

Ladurée is also participating in the 2021 Vancouver Dine Out Festival with several options. They are offering a brunch/lunch menu as well as a special offer for their Afternoon Tea. If Dine Out isn’t your thing, they are also participating in the Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival. They have three gorgeous hot chocolates to choose from – Ispahan, Othello and Choclate de la Passion. All three come with a Ladurée macaron. They are one of the top spots I want to try for both festivals – let me know if you’ve been in the comments below.
