Honolulu Coffee Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival Offerings

The 2024 Greater Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival is upon us again. This year the festival will feature 160 hot chocolate flavours from 71 spots across 105 locations. This is the Greater Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival’s 14th season to feature the best chocolatiers, pastry shops, bakeries, cafes, gelato and ice cream makers in Vancouver. The festival is a great opportunity for participating vendors to flex their creative juices to create their own unique hot chocolates. The festival will run from January 13 – February 14, 2024. Honolulu Coffee has always come up with incredible drink creations for this festival, and this year is no exception. I got the chance to preview the drinks in advance of the festival. Check out Honolulu Coffee’s offerings for the Greater Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival below!

  • SNOW-COCO (Available January 13 – February 14, 2024)
    • The finest blend of 70% dark chocolate with steamed oat milk creates a creamy canvas for artistry. A drizzle of macadamia nut and coconut syrup adds an exotic twist, while the two marshmallow snowmen create a winter wonderland in your cup. This drink is served with two snowmen made with marshmallows and pretzels.

This was so rich and decadent and I love the use of oat milk. The tropical twist is a nice nod to Hawaii and I would highly recommend this hot chocolate for people are fans of Honolulu Coffee’s HW Latte.

  • CALLI-COCO (Available January 13 – February 14, 2024)
    • A fun hot chocolate with INK-spiration! The base, a heavenly blend of 28% white chocolate and perfectly steamed milk. A glass of jet-black enchantment by the side, a concoction of activated charcoal power, sesame paste and the fragrant touch of earl grey. With the provided single use complimentarybrush pen, the canvas is yours to paint. This set includes a delicate fortune cookie.

This hot chocolate is such a cute and fun idea! It’s such a nice way to enjoy your drink but also have some creative fun with it. The ‘ink’ works really well on the foamy surface of the white chocolate drink. And once you’re done with painting, you pour the rest of the ink into the drink. The black sesame paste is not too sweet, and the nuttiness of the paste counters the sweetness of the white chocolate well.

Worth a Try?
