The menu for this afternoon tea is divided into three parts – snacks, savoury and sweet.
For the snacks we start off with:
- Tigger’s Light As Air Delight (creamsicle cotton candy) – it’s a fun light little treat.
- Tigger’s Tail – Chocolate-dipped seabuckthorn marshmallow with honey puffed rice. It’s like biting into a cloud with just the perfect textural crunch from the honey puffed rice. The seabuckthorn gives the marshmallow a slight tanginess that goes well with the sweetness of the chocolate.
- Eeyore’s Blueberry Blues – Earl Grey blueberry scones served with clotted cream and preserves. Some of the best scones in town. Buttery and melt in your mouth. They pair perfectly with the house made cream and forest berry and plum preserves.

For sweets we are treated to:
- Pooh’s Midnight Honey Pot – a standout both visually and flavour-wise. The pavlova is light and crisp, balanced with peach and apricot compote, mascarpone cream, and delicate touches of Bayshore honey. It’s airy, floral, and not overly sweet. Exactly what you want mid-tea.
- Piglet’s Grand Gesture – Soft vanilla sponge layered with strawberry compote and whipped ganache, finished with white chocolate feathers. A beautiful presentation and not too sweet.
- Christopher Robin’s Going Away Sweet – the most indulgent of the bunch. A chocolate cookie sandwich filled with milk chocolate ganache and salted caramel. Rich, nostalgic, and surprisingly not too sweet.
- Rabbit’s Garden – a can’t miss classic. The carrot cupcake with honey cream cheese icing is comforting and classic, with just enough refinement to elevate it beyond the expected.

- The Enchanted Place Honey Smoked Salmo – beautifully cured Pacific salmon paired with honey-preserved lemon gel and crème fraîche. Fresh, bright, and refined.
- Owl’s Blusterous Tart – Orange and rosemary confit duck with sour cherry compote and goat cheese labneh. Incredibly rich, aromatic, and decadent.
- Tigger’s Savoury Surprise Pocket – Baked brie with thyme-infused mango jam in crisp phyllo pastry. Sweet, savoury, and unexpectedly addictive. Definitely a standout treat for me.
- Something Sensible to Start – the most classic of tea sandwiches but elevated. Cucumber ribbons with whipped cream cheese and honey on marble rye. Simple, clean, and a great way to start the tea service.
