What I ate: Gamjatang (24 hour broth of pork, pork on the bone, potato, wild sesame, served with rice)
For a short little while, I was obsessed with Gamjatang. I would get it at every Korean restaurant that I went to.
I’ve been going to Damso since they opened and this was the first time that I got their Gamjatang. This was a really good version! I would definitely put it up there as one of my top 5 gamjatangs.
The soup wasn’t too salty and they were very generous with the pork bones. I had half of this packed to go because it was just so big!
Although Damso used to be my ultimate favourite Korean restaurant, I would say that over time, the quality has decreased slightly. However, this gamjatang has renewed my faith in them, and I will definitely be coming back again for this dish!
