One thing I struggle with is very dry hands. When winter rolls around no amount of lotion can keep my hands from flaking.
L’Occitane is one of my favourite brands, and the sales associate introduced me to their one minute hand scrub which helps to exfoliate dead and flaky skin.
The L’Occitane One Minute Hand Scrub ($25) can be purchased in-store and online.
The product has a bi-phase formula consists of:
- an exfoliating organic sugar to gently scrub and eliminate dead skin cells.
- oils (shea, sweet almond and grapeseed oils) to help soften and nourish hands.
This comes with a spatula so you need to mix the product around before using. Once you’ve finished scrubbing and washed the sugar granules off there will still be a slightly oily sheen to your hands. I tend to use this before I go to sleep and by the next morning, the oil is mostly gone.
A little goes a long way with this product, and I’ve been using it for almost a year now and I feel that my hands are definitely softer!
