I always see the gorgeous bossam platter from this restaurant on Instagram, but unfortunately we decided to dine here last minute and we were not able to reserve one. We came around 7:30 pm on a Wednesday night and it was very busy here.

They only offer two banchan here (kimchi and beansprouts), so on that front it was disappointing. Also, refills are $1.

What we ate: Pan Fried Dumplings – 5 pieces ($4.99)

I didn’t have any but my friends found this to be on the oily side. Also, these came out extremely fast. It wasn’t even two minutes after we ordered this that this was served, so we have a sinking suspicion these are pre-made in batches.

What we ate: Glass noodles with Vegetables and Beef – Small ($11.99)

The small was huge! My friend is a big eater and even he was surprised how generous the portion size was. There was good taste to this, but the noodles were on the wetter side.

What we ate: Kimchi Soft Tofu Hotpot ($9.99)

I ordered this and it was a decent rendition of Kimchi jjigae. I have no complaints on this dish, but I did regret ordering it after I saw my friends’ bibimbap!

What we ate: Dolsot Bibimbap ($10.99)

This was the best out of everything that we ordered. The serving size, again, was very generous. All the components were cooked well and the rice was sufficiently crispy on the bottom.

Would I come back? Yes. I want to try their bossam!
