Sopra Sotto is a gorgeous Italian restaurant located on the Drive. The restaurant serves fresh traditional Italian food in a contemporary setting.
I came by on a sunny afternoon to enjoy their Happy Hour and to catch up with my girlfriends. The restaurant is spacious and beautifully decorated.
The Sangria was bright and refreshing, no complaints here! It’s a common drink done well.
Sopra Sotto has a great lunch special from 11:30 am until 6:00 pm which features their Panino Vegetariano or Porchetta with a glass of house wine or a draft beer for just $14.00. We definitely took advantage of this deal and ordered one of each.
My selection was the Vegetariano and it did not disappoint. It was packed full of roasted vegetables and cheese. The bread was fresh and crispy and complemented the vegetables really well!
This is simplicity at its finest. Simple and fresh ingredients on a delicious wood fired crust. It was a generous portion for the price. Pair it with a glass of wine and you’ll definitely be full!
This was a very savoury pizza! The speck was a deliciously salty addition to the earthiness of the mushrooms. A variety of mushrooms might be pushing it though there was maybe two types of mushrooms. Nonetheless, this was our favourite pizza of the night!
Would I come back? Absolutely. I was enamoured by how beautiful the restaurant itself was and was further impressed by how delicious the food was.
