I screamed a little when I saw the 雞蛋仔 keychain.. I screamed a little when I saw the 雞蛋仔 keychain.. that was my favourite snack growing up. @gotyoualilsomething have the cutest nostalgic keychains from iced milk tea, the classic ceramic cups for hot milk tea, tempo tissues and more. they’ve even got steamed sausage rolls!!

spotted these at the newly opened @daydreamfactory.ca @southgranville!

for a limited time, my favourite matcha cafe @nizucafe is featuring a 3 course $48 tasting menu (you can also order the dishes a la carte):

- Chawanmushi ($8.50) – silky egg custard, spot prawn dashi, shitake, spot prawn, ikura
- Crudo ($20.00) – yuzu kosho vinaigrette, avocado, cucumber, pickled radish

every dish was really tasty and i highly recommend you try it out before the season ends.

pro tip: try their new yuzu tonic matcha it’s quite possibly my new favourite drink of the summer!

taking my dad to places he’s seen online - part 2! taking my dad to places he’s seen online - part 2!

this episode has a bit of a twist because 30 years ago he took my mom here for a fancy date night and still talks about it every time we drive by 🥹 so when i heard @lecrocodilerestaurant was running a weekday champagne lunch promotion i knew it was the perfect excuse to bring him back.

they’re currently offering 50% off all bottles of champagne tuesday to friday from 11:30am to 2:30pm 🍾

everything was so good and my dad said that the french onion soup tasted just as good as he remembered 🥹

pro tip: pair the champagne special with their rotating $55 3-course prix fixe menu and you’ve got a lunch that will impress anyone… even a picky chinese dad!
