After seeing so many social media posts on this quaint new restaurant I decided to visit with R after lunch!
The interior is the nicest Vietnamese restaurant I’ve ever been to. I love the whole look and feel of the vintage pieces they have that showcase a bygone era of Vietnam. They did a pretty good job ‘separating’ the cafe portion of the restaurant and the food side. Unfortunately it does some extremely strongly of Vietnamese food, but you stop noticing it after a while!
These macarons were so cute! I’ll definitely be back soon to try these out!
What we drank: 2 French Coffees ($2) and 1 Vietnamese Iced Coffee ($4)
You can bet I didn’t sleep at all that night. The coffee was very strong and tasty! I really enjoyed it a lot. Also it was very well priced!
What we ate: Macarons ($2 each) – Passionfruit, Hazelnut, French Earl Grey, Matcha, Lemon and Pistachio
The macarons were all pretty standard. They had a nice crispy exterior and creamy fillings. These were definitely on the sweeter side, but still a good treat to have with the very dark coffee!
I had a great time at Bánh Mi Très Bon, and I will definitely be back again soon to try their savoury options!
